So this statement may have been a misconception from the beginning. There are significant differences in the charging and discharging characteristics between high-temperature lithium batteries and nickel batteries, and it may be obvious that all serious formal technical materials emphasize that overcharging and overdischarging can cause significant harm to high-temperature lithium batteries, especially liquid lithium-ion batteries. Therefore, it is recommended to charge according to standard time and methods, especially not for long charging lasting more than 12 hours. So does the battery need to be activated? The answer is a judgment and needs to be activated! However, this process is implemented by the manufacturer and has nothing to do with the user, and the user is not capable of implementing it. The true activation process of high-temperature lithium batteries is as follows: the lithium-ion battery case is filled with electrolyte - sealed - formed, which is constant voltage charging, and then discharged. This process is repeated for many cycles to fully immerse the electrolyte and activate it until the capacity reaches the required level. This is the activation process - capacity division, which means that the lithium-ion battery has already been activated by the user after leaving the factory. Due to the inherent characteristics of high-temperature lithium batteries, they have little to no memory effect. Therefore, users do not need any special methods or equipment during the activation process of new high-temperature lithium batteries. Persecution of overcharging and overdischarging: The rated voltage of lithium-ion batteries, due to changes in data in recent years, is 3.7V for some, and 3.2V for lithium iron phosphate (hereinafter referred to as phosphate iron). The termination charging voltage when fully charged is 4.2V for some, and 3.65V for phosphate iron. The termination discharge voltage of lithium-ion batteries is 2.75V to 3.0V (the battery factory provides the operating voltage range or termination discharge voltage, with slightly different parameters, some being 3.0V and phosphate iron being 2.5V).
