Secondly, the prices of different battery cells can also vary greatly. For the packaging situation of using PVC heat sealing, it may be used in cases where the number of battery cells in series is small and the overall weight is light (≤ 2kg). However, for battery packs with an overall weight of ≥ 1kg, it is necessary to add fixed brackets between the cells, protect the periphery with fiberglass boards, and then use PVC heat sealing. Plastic: Plastic shell is used, and it is important to note that after different battery packs are finalized, the affected shell may need to be molded, and mold usage is a significant expense. If the product is not finalized in the early stages of development, a prototype shell may be used for sampling (the prototype strength is not as strong as the material strength after mold shaping). Different requirements for the material and process of the shell (especially with three protection requirements) may also affect the cost. Metal: Metal shells are also similar to plastic shells. Before the product is finalized or in small quantities, it is recommended to use sheet metal sampling. This is important because the sample delivery time is shorter. If the batch is large, it is also recommended to open the mold.
