What are the advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries and lead-acid batteries?

Advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries:
1. Durability: Lithium iron phosphate batteries have strong durability, slow consumption, over 1000 charge and discharge cycles, no memory, and a general lifespan of 5-8 years.
2. Discharge rate: Lithium iron phosphate batteries can discharge large currents and are suitable for solar street lights, electric vehicles, electric bicycles, etc.
3. In terms of volume and quality: Lithium batteries have a relatively small volume.
4. Battery capacity: Lithium batteries of the same volume have a larger capacity than lead-acid batteries. The capacity of lead-acid batteries is about 20 amperes; The capacity of lithium batteries is 8-10 amperes.
5. No memory effect: Regardless of the state of the lithium iron phosphate battery, it can be used at any time without discharging before charging.
6. Single cell nominal voltage: Lithium iron phosphate battery nominal voltage: 3.6V.

Overview of advantages of lead-acid batteries:
1. Lead acid batteries generally have a deep charge and discharge time of no more than 300 times, have memory, and a lifespan of about 2 years. And lead-acid batteries contain liquid. If the battery heats up or the charging time is shortened after using it for a period of time, it is necessary to replenish the liquid.
2. Generally, lead-acid batteries weigh between 16-30 kilograms and have a relatively large volume;
3. Lead content is higher in lead-acid batteries. If not handled properly, it will pollute the environment.
4. The nominal voltage of lead-acid batteries is 2.0V, while the voltage of regular lead-acid batteries is usually 12V.

Compared to lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries have many advantages:
1. Large capacity. Monomers can be made into 5Ah~1000Ah (1Ah=1000mAh), while 2V monomers in lead-acid batteries typically range from 100Ah~150Ah, with relatively small variations.
2. Lightweight. The volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries with the same capacity is 2/3 of the volume of lead-acid batteries, and the weight is 1/3 of the latter.
3. Strong fast charging ability. The starting current of lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach 2C, which can achieve high rate charging; The current requirement for lead-acid batteries is generally between 0.1C and 0.2C, which cannot achieve fast charging performance.
4. Environmental protection. Lead acid batteries contain a large amount of heavy metal - lead, which produces waste liquid, while lithium iron phosphate batteries do not contain any heavy metals and are pollution-free during production and use.
5. High cost performance ratio. Although lead-acid batteries are cheaper than lithium iron phosphate batteries due to their cheaper materials, they are not as economical in terms of service life and daily maintenance as lithium iron phosphate batteries. The practical application results show that the cost-effectiveness of lithium iron phosphate batteries is more than four times that of lead-acid batteries.
