As a commonly used means of transportation for the public, electric vehicles can be seen in daily life. These electric vehicles rely on lead-acid batteries or lithium batteries as power sources. Replacing lead-acid maintenance free batteries is relatively simple, but the process of replacing lithium batteries requires certain skills. After all, lithium batteries have higher safety hazards than lead-acid batteries. Therefore, there are several things to pay attention to when DIY hands-on operation:
So how to assemble electric vehicle lithium batteries:
1. Prepare materials, including stainless steel battery box, for the 60V24AH lithium battery assembled for electric vehicles. The lithium battery must be an electric vehicle power battery.
2. Connect 20 lithium batteries in a string, for a total of 8 strings.
3. 8 series of lithium batteries are connected in parallel and insulated with separators and adhesive tape.
4. Fixed with adhesive tape, connected in series with welding protection wire.
5. Wrap the series welded lithium battery with heat shrink film for insulation, connect it to a protective board, and ensure proper insulation to prevent short circuits. 6. The short circuit hazard of lithium batteries is significant. After wrapping the lithium battery with a heat shrink film, the assembly of the electric vehicle lithium battery is completed. Simply put it into the electric vehicle.
Attention should be paid to the following issues when assembling electric vehicle lithium batteries:
1. During the process of disassembling the battery, check the quality of all wiring, as well as the safety seat, charging socket, and electric vehicle lithium battery lead out wire for normal and reliable contact, and tighten all connectors. Items that need to be replaced should be replaced, and their reliability should be emphasized. Unreliable items should be replaced.
2. The installation of lithium batteries for assembling electric vehicles should follow the instructions in the battery packaging box. In fact, most of the batteries inside the battery box are connected in series. Each battery is soldered together with a soldering iron using copper wire of no less than one square meter. The remaining two output terminals, positive and negative, are soldered to the two sections of the output socket. Be careful not to connect them in reverse and make sure they correspond to the positive and negative terminals on the charger. Otherwise, the consequences would be severe.
3. After installing the electric vehicle lithium battery, a multimeter should be used to measure the output port voltage of the battery. The actual voltage of the battery should be slightly higher than the standard voltage by 2-5V. Only when it is normal can it be put into normal operation.
