Low temperature lithium battery production process and control: raw material inspection, raw material pretreatment, ingredient inspection, vacuum induction melting, rapid cooling ingot semi-finished product inspection, heat treatment, crushing powder manufacturing, screening, post-treatment, vacuum or nitrogen filled packaging, finished product inspection.
Tempering
1. The process requires the supplier to provide a data sheet, and the quality inspection department must conduct experiments to store and reserve the processed materials that meet the requirements for composition and impurity content.
2. Data preprocessing is important in removing nominal contaminants and oxides from the original data to ensure its cleanliness.
3. Based on different premises, raw materials should compensate for the loss of volatile elements such as rare earths and manganese during incineration.
4. Vacuum induction melting should be filled with argon under a vacuum of 0.1 Pa, melted into an alloy at 1300 degrees Celsius, and rapidly cooled to obtain an alloy with small and evenly arranged grains.
Semi finished products: The inspection of semi-finished products includes three aspects:
1. Appearance: The appearance of the alloy should have a metallic luster, no obvious oxidation discoloration, and the alloy arrangement structure should be uniform and delicate, without fluffiness or impurities;
2. Chemical composition: The chemical composition of the alloy should be consistent with the design composition.
3. Electrochemical ability: You should be satisfied with the request of enterprise standards, otherwise you cannot refuse.
3、 Heat treatment: The vacuum heat treatment furnace is selected and maintained by filling argon after vacuum pumping. The importance of heat treatment process is to make the product uniform and firm (eliminate internal stress), ensure the platform pressure, good uniformity and good cycle life characteristics of the alloy. The key is to ensure temperature and vacuum degree, and measure oxygen content.
The entire process of alloy crushing, powder production, and packaging is completely enclosed under argon gas maintenance, ensuring low oxygen content in the alloy. There are four aspects to finished product inspection.
1. Appearance: There is no discoloration or oxidation phenomenon in name, and no clumping phenomenon;
2. The physical function, granularity dispersion, and bulk rate meet the enterprise specifications;
3. Chemical characteristics: alloy powder composition, impurity content, and alloy PCT curve comply with enterprise standards;
4. Electrochemical function: The electrochemical capacity, charge discharge characteristics, cycle life, high current pulse discharge characteristics, and temperature characteristics of the alloy. The inner packaging adopts nylon composite plastic bag vacuum double-layer packaging, the whole box adopts nitrogen plastic bag packaging, and the outer box adopts cardboard box packaging.
