Li-ion Battery 18650 production and manufacturing process.
To understand the detailed process of assembling 18650 lithium batteries, the first step is to select and assemble the battery cells. Conduct strict voltage and internal resistance checks on each battery cell to ensure that the voltage difference is less than 5mV and the internal resistance difference is not greater than 3m Ω. Only then can the battery cells be combined into a battery pack with excellent consistency. Use a professional battery cell sorting and grouping device to ensure that the performance of the battery pack is maximized.
Next, the battery cells will be connected to a bracket for series parallel combination, which is not only beneficial for heat dissipation, but also enhances the safety of the battery pack and avoids potential risks caused by vibration.
Spot welding of battery packs is a key step, using nickel strips (pure nickel or nickel plated steel strips) for connection, and selecting the appropriate thickness of nickel strips according to current requirements. It is necessary to control the spot welding power to ensure that the welding points are firm and not excessively welded, and to pass a 7KG tensile test to ensure the stability of the battery pack.
The welding of the protective board cannot be ignored. Wiring should be carried out according to the specifications of the 13 series 48V lithium battery protective board. After welding, insulation should be done with heat shrink tubing to ensure circuit safety.
During the insulation packaging stage of the battery pack, comprehensive protection is provided for the lithium battery pack by shaping and fixing the wires, as well as blowing PVC film and applying glue to prevent moisture and dust from entering.
