For shift operation, a battery replacement system is the only possible solution, which requires investment, space, and frequent battery replacement is laborious. If these costs are added up in the long term, lithium-ion batteries for forklifts are a very good investment.
Lithium batteries have charging memory, and the charging memory characteristics of electric forklifts allow the battery to be charged randomly and intermittently without affecting its lifespan. Users can efficiently use their work and rest time to replenish their battery, making it convenient for them to coordinate their work. The manufacturer of electric transport vehicles stated that the lifespan of lithium batteries is also very long. Lead acid batteries have an average cycle lifespan of 1200 times (approximately 6000 hours of operation), while lithium iron phosphate batteries have a cycle lifespan of over 4000 times (approximately 24000 hours of operation). In practical use, lithium iron phosphate batteries still have a capacity of over 65% after more than 4000 uses, while lead-acid batteries have a capacity of less than 50% after 1200 uses.
