How to check the quality of lithium batteries?
The routine items for quality testing of lithium batteries include the external and internal performance of the battery. External performance includes whether the appearance is deformed or scratched, whether the hardness is sufficient, and whether the weight meets the standards; Internal performance includes capacity, internal resistance, voltage, and so on.
1. The quick inspection method is to test the internal resistance and discharge current of z. High quality lithium batteries have very low internal resistance and high discharge current. Using a multimeter with a range of 20A, directly short-circuit the two electrodes of the lithium battery, and the current should generally be around 10A or even higher, which can be maintained for a period of time. A more stable battery is a good battery.
2. Look at the appearance. The appearance is neat and smooth, for example, a lithium battery with a capacity of about 2000mAh, if the production technology level is high, the volume is relatively small compared to a slightly lower quality volume. More exquisite workmanship or fuller packaging.
3. Check the hardness. The middle part of the lithium battery can be gently or moderately squeezed by hand. Moderate hardness without any soft squeezing sensation proves that lithium batteries are of relatively high quality.
4. Check the weight. Open the outer packaging and check if the weight of the battery is relatively heavy. If it is heavy, then it is a high-quality battery.
5. If the two poles of a lithium battery do not heat up after continuous discharge for about 10 minutes during the charging process, it proves that the battery protection board system is complete. Generally speaking, lithium batteries with high-quality protective plates have better quality than ordinary lithium batteries.
