Why can lithium iron phosphate batteries outperform lead-acid batteries.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries are worth using as positive electrode materials. In addition to lithium iron phosphate, lithium batteries also include lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium nickel oxide, and so on, and the most commonly used one is lithium iron phosphate.
Compared to lead-acid batteries, nickel cadmium batteries, and nickel hydrogen batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries are smaller in size and lighter in weight. Firstly, we can know that the cycle life of lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach 1200-2000 times, while lead-acid batteries only have 300-500 times. In terms of service life, lead-acid batteries are much worse than lithium batteries, and their performance is beyond doubt. There is also a significant difference in thermal peak values between lithium iron phosphate batteries and lead-acid batteries, which is about 150-200 degrees Celsius. This is also one of the reasons why we should choose lithium batteries and why they are so popular.
