18650 lithium battery is a commonly used lithium-ion battery in electronic products, often used as a battery cell in laptop batteries. The meaning of its model is as follows: for example, 18650 type, which refers to a cylindrical battery with a diameter of 18mm and a length of 65mm.

When charging for the first time, additional power needs to be added to form a protective film on the electrode surface, which is the secret of low self discharge in lithium-ion batteries. Meanwhile, the properties of the protective film also affect the performance and lifespan of the battery. Therefore, the chemical conversion process is very important. The transformation is completed using a separate container.
