What is a good type of AGV lithium battery?

There are also different types of AGV lithium batteries, and the ones with a relatively large market share are lithium iron phosphate batteries and ternary lithium batteries. For the convenience of users, let's take a look at the differences between these two types of batteries. One thing in common is energy density. After all, AGV lithium batteries belong to power batteries, and what power batteries need is endurance. Of course, safety comes first in terms of energy density. Batteries are not safe, and no matter how good their performance is, it is useless.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries appeared relatively early, with ternary lithium batteries coming from behind and having a higher energy density than lithium iron phosphate batteries. However, in terms of safety, lithium iron phosphate batteries are much higher than ternary lithium batteries, so each has its own advantages. In addition, from the positive and negative electrode materials used, lithium iron phosphate batteries can withstand high temperatures of 700 ℃, while ternary lithium batteries can only withstand around 200 ℃. The high heat resistance also reflects the safety of lithium iron phosphate batteries. The application scenarios of AGV power batteries are mostly in warehouses and workshops, and these scenarios have very high requirements for safety performance.

Not only in terms of safety and energy density, but also in terms of temperature adaptability and charging and discharging frequency. From the perspective of high temperature resistance, we have learned that there is a significant difference between the two types of lithium batteries, but ternary lithium batteries have better low-temperature adaptability. Charging efficiency is also a more important aspect of power lithium batteries. As a more high-tech product than lithium iron phosphate batteries, ternary lithium batteries have higher charging and discharging efficiency.

From this, it can be seen that both lithium iron phosphate batteries and ternary lithium batteries have their own advantages. Currently, the usage rate of lithium iron phosphate batteries in the AGV lithium battery market is higher than that of ternary lithium batteries. But this does not mean that it is necessary to choose lithium iron phosphate batteries, but to choose a more suitable lithium battery according to one's own needs, only in this way can its performance be maximized. So there is no better type of lithium battery, it still depends on the working environment, as each has its own advantages.
