What are the types of batteries?
Batteries mainly include alkaline batteries, carbon batteries, etc., and the different components inside these batteries can affect their performance and usage methods. With the development of the battery industry, batteries are becoming smaller and larger, with higher power and voltage.
1. Carbon based batteries
Primary battery, voltage: 1.5V
Zinc manganese batteries, commonly known as carbon batteries. Dry batteries commonly used in daily life. It is currently the cheapest type of battery. This type of battery has low capacity and is prone to leakage. Currently commonly used in products such as TV remote controls. Common products: 1, 2, 5, 7, button style, etc.
2. Alkaline battery
Primary battery, voltage: 1.5V
Alkaline batteries are currently the most commonly used batteries. The advantage lies in its durable battery capacity, which can reach 7 times the capacity of carbon batteries. The current output is stable and does not leak liquid. Can be used in instruments and equipment with high power consumption. Common products: 1, 2, 5, 7, button style, etc.
3. Nickel cadmium battery
Rechargeable battery, voltage: 1.2V
The disadvantages of nickel cadmium batteries include large volume, heavy weight, small capacity, self discharge, memory effect, and environmental friendliness. The advantage is that it can be recharged more than 500 times, which is very economical. Durable to over impact and over discharge, easy to use and operate. The internal resistance is small and can discharge large currents, so this product is commonly used in electric tools for reuse. Common products: 1 (D-type), 2 (C-type), 5 (AA), 7 (AAA), button type, and various non-standard models.
4. Nickel hydrogen battery
Rechargeable battery, voltage: 1.2V
The disadvantage of nickel hydrogen batteries compared to nickel cadmium batteries is that they cannot discharge at high currents (currently, there are factories producing nickel hydrogen batteries with high current discharge). The advantage is that the same volume capacity is more than twice that of nickel cadmium, the memory effect is small, and there is no pollution, which is called a green and environmentally friendly battery. Common products: 1 (D-type), 2 (C-type), 5 (AA), 7 (AAA), button type, and various non-standard models.
5. Lithium ion batteries
Voltage: 3.7V
The shell of
lithium-ion batteries has steel and aluminum shells, with aluminum shells having a capacity 10% -15% higher than steel shells. Advantages include small size, high capacity, and high voltage. There are cylindrical, square, and irregular shapes. Commonly used for mobile phone batteries, PDA batteries, and laptop batteries.
There are mainly five types of batteries, including carbon batteries, alkaline batteries, nickel cadmium batteries, nickel hydrogen batteries, and lithium electronic batteries. Lithium ion batteries are commonly used in mobile phones and computers, and their volume is extremely small, but they store a large amount of electricity.
Guangzhou Battsys Co., Ltd (NEEQ:837375), was founded in 2006, which is a join-stock high-tech enterprise engaging in ODM and OEM , specially for customized and diverse research&production of lithium-ion battery,BATTSYS annual production capacity is tens of millions battery cells. The products are exported to dozens of countries & regions such as Europe, America & Asia etc.
