With the use of various smart devices in real life, our demand for lithium batteries continues to increase. The average cycle life of a set of lithium-ion batteries is about 2000 times, so the average service life is about 3-5 years. But this is a statement made when we use it according to usage standards. Deep discharge

Deep discharge can cause significant expansion and contraction in lithium-ion batteries, which can easily cause the active material in the electrode to become loose and even cause detachment. In the long run, lithium-ion batteries will reduce their discharge capacity, leading to performance degradation, affecting the use of industrial equipment, and may even cause complete damage to the battery. Therefore, it is important to charge the battery in a timely manner and not wait until it is completely discharged before charging.


Overcharging

After a lithium-ion battery is fully charged, it can continue to be charged to a certain extent. The gas generated by the decomposition of the electrolyte in the lithium-ion battery can cause the battery to expand, resulting in battery bulging and even smoking, causing damage to the parts until they are scrapped and cannot be used.


Not using the original charger

To use an original charger: For industrial lithium-ion batteries, the charger provided by the manufacturer must be used. Do not use chargers with incompatible models or voltage parameters with the battery, as long-term use can lead to battery aging. If the original charger is damaged, you can contact the manufacturer to purchase the original charger. The original charger model has a higher compatibility with lithium batteries.
