AGV batteries are mainly divided into lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries. For the same AGV product, many AGV brands have also launched two versions: lithium battery version and lead-acid version. Many consumers are puzzled by this, what are the differences between different batteries for AGVs? Should we choose AGV lithium-ion batteries or AGV lead-acid batteries?

Battery is one of the core components of AGV, and its quality directly affects the normal use of AGV. There is no fundamental difference in principle between lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries. Due to the differences in raw materials used, there are significant differences in the usage of AGV lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries.

In terms of service life, lead-acid batteries have a cycle count of approximately 300-400 times and a normal service life of 1-2 years. The cycle times of lithium-ion battery packs are usually between 800-1200 times, with a normal lifespan of 3-5 years. Proper maintenance provides a longer lifespan, effectively reducing the cost of battery replacement and lowering usage costs for users.
