At present, various brands of lithium batteries in the market are mixed and difficult to distinguish between good and bad. How to choose a new national standard dedicated lithium battery has become an urgent matter for distributors and consumers!
1、 Check the appearance and packaging
The quality of a battery can first be judged from its appearance and packaging. A product that cannot even handle the details on the packaging is definitely not a professional product. Visually, it can help us screen out some inferior products.
2、 Compare weight
The weight and capacity of a lithium battery are directly proportional. If it is a polymer lithium battery, if the weight difference is too large, the capacity will definitely be insufficient. However, there are differences in the capacity of some batteries themselves. In addition, the weight of the battery can also be perceived from the outer packaging to see if it is relatively heavy. If it is heavy, it tends to be a high-quality lithium battery.
3、 Test internal resistance and maximum current
In fact, the fastest way to evaluate the performance of lithium batteries is to test their internal resistance and maximum discharge current. High quality lithium batteries have very low internal resistance and a large maximum discharge current. Using a multimeter with a range of 20A, directly short-circuit the two electrodes of the lithium battery. The current should generally be around 10A, or even higher, and can be maintained for a period of time. A relatively stable battery is considered good.
4、 Detecting live work
During the charged operation of a lithium battery, if the two poles of the battery do not heat up after about 10 minutes of continuous discharge, it proves that the battery protection board system is complete. Generally, lithium batteries with high-quality protection boards have better quality than ordinary lithium batteries.
