Although some cheaper battery pack suppliers may use generic ready-made BMS with incorrect settings, reputable battery manufacturers will prioritize using unique customized BMS with well-known brand ICs and MOS. This customization ensures comprehensive protection against potential issues such as overcharging, overvoltage, extreme temperatures, and unexpected polarity reversal. Therefore, batteries maintain good protection and ensure their long-term performance.

However, when the power consumption exceeds the preset BMS protection settings, the BMS may limit performance or cut off power.
