How to maintain AGV lithium batteries.

The maintenance of AGV lithium batteries involves multiple aspects, and the following are specific recommendations:

Turn off power: Before idle, keep the lithium battery fully charged and check if the car key, emergency stop switch, battery switch, etc. are in the off state. If conditions permit, manually unplug the battery plug and cover the battery cover to prevent damage to the lithium battery during the idle process of the AGV, which may affect its normal use when resuming work.

Storage environment: AGV lithium batteries should be placed in a cool, dry, and safe environment, and ensure that they are kept away from hazardous materials such as chemicals and mechanical equipment. It is not recommended to place AGV lithium batteries outdoors, as harsh outdoor environments or low temperatures can cause damage to the lithium batteries.

Timely charging: The discharged lithium battery should be charged within 24 hours. Prolonged storage can cause damage to the internal battery cells of the lithium battery, which is irreversible.

Regular Recharge: Lithium batteries should be charged once a month if left unused for a long time. Ensure that the AGV lithium battery level is not less than 50% when idle.

Using an original charger: To prevent battery mismatch with the charger, use an original charger to charge the lithium battery to prevent shortened battery life or unnecessary safety risks caused by charger mismatch.

Avoid heavy load pressure: Do not stack multiple batteries together or place heavier objects on top of the batteries.

Avoid metal contact: If it is necessary to remove the battery from the AGV, make sure that the battery port is far away from the metal conductive material to avoid short circuits between the positive and negative poles of the battery.

Attention to cleaning: Before using the AGV car for work during holidays, pay attention to observing the appearance for any damage, clean the grooves of the AGV car battery and the dust on the surface of the lithium battery, and ensure that the performance of the battery remains as usual during use.

Pay attention to temperature: In the overall cold winter, AGVs should be placed indoors in a cool, dry, and stable environment, and away from dangerous goods. If left unused for a long time, charge once a month to prevent AGV lithium batteries from self discharging, damaging the battery structure, and reducing the number of battery cycles.
