This issue is related to the operating costs of forklift companies. Purchasing a stable set of forklift batteries can save a lot of trouble in the later stage. We have seen a case where a customer factory purchased a set of 48V550AH Heli forklift batteries. After using them for six months, the individual cells began to smoke, the electrolyte evaporated too quickly, and the usage time was shortened. In the past, distilled water was replenished every two weeks, but now it needs to be replenished once a day. Moreover, manual supervision is required during charging to replenish water in a timely manner, otherwise it will burn out immediately and produce a large amount of gas and unpleasant odor. The entire charging room cannot bear it for 10 minutes, and the air is filled with a lot of pungent and dazzling acid mist. In this situation, the customer will provide feedback to the forklift battery manufacturer, The factory surprisingly claimed that adding water quickly was normal and refused to replace the individual batteries with new ones. They also appeared impatient and helpless when it came to technical inquiries. Eventually, the customer approached us and we sent engineers to the site to investigate the issues with the vehicle's current and forklift charging system. We found that four of the connected forklift battery cells had micro short circuits, with zero electrolyte density and a few volts per cell. The entire forklift was used for less than 2 hours with frequent charging, resulting in uneven density of the remaining 20 cell batteries. 

The next day, we brought four forklift batteries for repair and welding. Do you think this problem should be solved? Is the problem still ahead? When we pulled up the forklift battery cell, we were preparing to replace the welding. It turned out that the battery pack was raised by a large section, and a raised steel plate was welded at the bottom of the forklift iron box, which differed from our standard size by 40mm. At this time, the customer took out the original standard nameplate, which showed a capacity of 550AH. The nameplate of a certain battery factory also marked 550AH. Although the cell size difference was far, it still reached a capacity of 500AH. However, when we opened the injection cap, the internal plates of the battery were relatively low and the weight did not meet the standard. It is estimated that the actual capacity should be around 450AH. Moreover, the price of the entire forklift battery pack is several thousand yuan higher than the market purchase price. It is truly a "conscience" in the industry; It is said that the customer later prepared to file a lawsuit in court, requesting the replacement of forklift battery packs with the same capacity size.
