How to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of lithium batteries?
Lithium batteries have important applications in our daily lives, providing power for various electrical equipment and have a wide range of applications. No matter how good a lithium-ion battery is, it will have a certain lifespan, and the price of lithium-ion batteries is higher than other batteries. Therefore, when buying lithium-ion batteries, it is best to choose high-quality lithium-ion batteries, which can last longer and reduce usage costs.
Inspection methods for the quality of lithium batteries
1. Detecting internal resistance and high discharge current, high-quality lithium-ion batteries have extremely low internal resistance and high discharge current. When using a 20A multimeter and short circuiting a lithium-ion battery, the current should generally be around 10A, or even higher, and can be maintained for a period of time. The more stable it is, the better the quality of the lithium-ion battery.
2. Observe the appearance. For example, a 20Ah lithium-ion battery has a larger volume, more precise process, and richer packaging.
3. Look at the hardness. The middle part of the lithium-ion battery can be pinched by hand or moderately, with moderate hardness and no soft squeezing sensation, which proves that the lithium battery cell is of high quality.
4. Weight. Removing the outer packaging doesn't make the battery feel heavy, so if it's heavy, it's considered a good battery cell.
5. When a lithium-ion battery operates with electricity, it is discharged continuously for about 10 minutes. If the two poles of the battery are not hot, it indicates that the battery protection board system is complete, and the quality of the lithium-ion battery with the installed protection board is better.
The service life of high-quality
lithium-ion batteries is about two to three years. The manifestation of durability of lithium-ion batteries is their extremely fast power consumption and correspondingly shortened charging time. To ensure the service life of lithium-ion batteries, special attention should be paid to the protection of lithium-ion batteries.
