Maintenance of batteries for idle lithium battery forklifts
If the battery is not used for a long time, it must be charged once within 60-90 days. The best storage state for lithium batteries is semi electric storage (i.e. stored between 40% and 60% of the nominal capacity of the battery), because the lithium battery pack will self discharge during storage, and the BMS system in the lithium battery pack will also consume power.
Original charging equipment
Try to use original lithium battery chargers for charging (avoid using lead-acid battery chargers directly, this should be kept in mind), use a legitimate matching lithium battery charger to charge the battery (also do not use chargers with mismatched models for charging), and do not use inferior or other types of battery chargers to charge the lithium battery. Poor quality chargers and chargers with mismatched models can cause damage to batteries and even major safety accidents. Excessive charger current can break down the lithium battery protection system, causing short circuits and ultimately leading to safety accidents in lithium batteries. The charger voltage is too low, resulting in low charging efficiency and excessive time consumption.
Temperature environment during storage
