Forklift lithium battery charging method.
Forklift
lithium batteries have been widely used because with the large-scale application of lithium batteries in equipment, their green and environmentally friendly quality has been recognized by people. This is a type of lithium battery that does not use water or any heavy metals in the production process. It uses carbon and lithium as the main raw materials, and all the exhaust gas generated is recycled and reused; Not causing solid pollution from lithium batteries used in large electric equipment will minimize the impact on the environment. A lithium battery weighing less than 3 kilograms is much better than a lead-acid battery weighing 15 kilograms; In terms of performance, lithium batteries are also becoming increasingly outstanding. They can be charged and discharged normally in the temperature range of -20 ℃ to 55 ℃, and their lifespan is 3 to 4 times that of lead-acid batteries for forklifts. Lithium batteries for forklifts are expected to become popular in the next 3-5 years. At present, the high price of lithium batteries for forklifts still discourages consumers. I believe that in a few years, with the decrease of lithium battery production technology, it will inevitably enter the public eye with reasonable prices from lithium battery manufacturers of large electric equipment. Forklift lithium batteries will be widely used, so how to correctly use forklift lithium batteries for charging? The following three points are detailed:
Location: The lithium battery pack of the forklift still has some remaining power before leaving the factory, and the forklift can still be driven for short distances after being sold out. After the initial use, it is recommended to charge the forklift lithium battery for a slightly longer period of time. The battery should be charged in a timely manner after use, and should be charged once before storage. If the battery has not been used for more than two months, it needs to be thoroughly charged. If the battery pack is placed for more than 5 months, it needs to undergo a charging and discharging cycle. Standardize the use of batteries, use them normally, and regularly charge the battery pack after long-term storage, which can ensure that the battery pack is more effective and extend its service life
Normal charging: The method for charging a
forklift lithium battery pack is as follows: first, connect the charger to the charged battery pack, and then connect the charger plug to an AC 220V power supply. (This connection sequence can prevent electric sparks when the charging plug is inserted.) After the charger is connected to the power, a red indicator light will be displayed, indicating that the battery is charging normally. Charging can be done within 6-8 hours as usual (please follow the instructions for actual charging time).
Charging precautions: To ensure the safety of battery pack charging and ensure the service life of the battery pack, this product is only suitable for our company's forklift lithium battery charger. If the charger is damaged or lost, please contact the relevant dealer to purchase it. Do not use lead-acid chargers or other chargers for charging.
