Can i use a marine battery in my car.

Marine batteries are a type of battery specifically designed for use on ships. Their design is much more powerful than ordinary batteries and can withstand vibrations on board. Like other batteries, their purpose is to provide power to the electrical equipment on board and start the ship's engine.

What is the difference between marine batteries and automotive batteries?


Before comparing marine batteries and automotive batteries, we should know that most marine batteries are lithium-ion deep cycle batteries, while automotive batteries are traditional lead-acid batteries.

When we talk about marine batteries, we know there will be vibrations on board. Marine batteries need to be more durable than automotive batteries. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, scientists have proposed a new type of battery, namely lithium-ion deep cycle battery. It can withstand vibrations on board and work efficiently on board. Compared to automotive batteries, marine batteries have thinner battery panels and may be broken during continuous movement.


Discharge capacity
Due to the fact that car batteries have more thin sheets, they can initially emit a large amount of current. However, due to its structure being only used for igniting engines, it cannot be used for continuous flow. Most marine batteries have a dual nature, which means they have a continuous current to keep the engine running for extended periods of time. The initial discharge capacity of marine batteries is small, but they can provide a longer period of current.
