Carrying capacity
Installing lithium batteries into a golf cart can significantly improve its weight/performance ratio. The weight of lithium golf cart batteries is half that of traditional lead-acid batteries, while the weight of lead-acid batteries is reduced by two-thirds of the normal use of golf carts. A lighter weight means that a golf cart can reach higher speeds with less effort and carry more weight without feeling slow from the passengers.

The difference in weight and performance allows the lithium powered trolley to carry two adults of average height and their equipment before reaching its carrying capacity. Due to the fact that lithium batteries maintain the same voltage output regardless of battery charging, the car continues to operate after its lead-acid battery lags behind the battery pack. In contrast, lead-acid and absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries lose voltage output and performance after using 70% to 75% of their rated battery capacity, which can have a negative impact on load-bearing capacity and become more complex over time.

Maintenance free
One of the main advantages of lithium batteries is that they do not require any maintenance, while lead-acid batteries require regular inspection and maintenance. Battery charging speed

Lithium batteries can be charged to 80% capacity in approximately one hour and fully charged in less than three hours.

In addition, partially charged lead-acid batteries may suffer from sulfate damage, greatly reducing their service life. On the other hand, lithium batteries have no adverse effects on fully charging, so they can be used to charge golf carts during lunchtime.

Environmental
Lithium batteries have less pressure on the environment. They greatly reduce the time required to fully charge, thereby reducing energy consumption. They do not contain harmful substances, and as the name suggests, lead-acid batteries contain lead that is harmful to the environment.

Battery life 
The service life of lithium batteries is much longer than lead-acid batteries because the chemical composition of lithium increases the number of charging cycles. A regular lithium battery can cycle 2000 to 5000 times. And ordinary lead-acid batteries can last for about 500 to 1000 cycles. Although the upfront cost of lithium batteries is high, compared to frequent replacement of lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries can recoup their costs over their lifespan. The investment in lithium batteries not only recovers costs over time, but can also save a significant amount of money by reducing electricity bills, maintenance costs, and potential repairs to heavy-duty lead-acid golf carts.
