Nowadays, electric forklifts have rapidly occupied the domestic and international forklift market with their many advantages. Energy saving, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and low maintenance cost. Driven by new energy and emission reduction policies, it will gradually replace fuel forklifts in most regions. When our old forklift batteries reach their maximum lifespan, the usage time and battery life will be shortened. In order not to affect or delay work efficiency, we must replace a new set of
forklift batteries.
So, after purchasing a suitable
forklift battery, how do you fit it into the forklift battery box? Do forklifts of different brands and models replace batteries in the same way? What is the simplest method? What tools are needed? The loading and unloading of forklift batteries can be divided into two ways: one is up and down lifting, and the other is left and right movement. Another work forklift and 1/2 sling can complete all replacement steps. 1. Turn the electric forklift key switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the forklift power;
2. Keep pushing the steering wheel tilt lever forward to prevent the forklift from sliding during battery replacement;
3. After removing all debris from the driver's seat and rear cover of the forklift, open the forklift battery cover.
4. Remove the power connector between the battery and the forklift, and completely disconnect the power supply;
5. For battery models with battery box covers, the box cover must be opened to expose the battery connection wires;
For battery models with battery box fixing screws, please remove the screws to make the battery box movable.
7. Hook the hanging holes on both ends of the battery with a hook (two hanging ropes may be needed depending on the weight of the battery), lift the battery and place it on a flat surface;
8. Lift the new battery with a hook, then place it smoothly into the forklift battery box, install the battery box fixing screw, or fill the gap with a fixture, and then check again whether the battery is installed correctly.
9. Insert the power connector, cover the battery box cover and forklift battery cover, and then start the forklift normally.
