Battsys battery has developed 12 safety precautions based on the characteristics of
18650 lithium batteries:
1. Do not disassemble the battery cell under any circumstances;
2. Do not immerse the battery in water or seawater, and do not let it get damp;
3. Do not charge, use, or place batteries near heat sources such as fire, heaters, or high temperatures (such as strong sunlight or hot car washing), otherwise it may cause overheating, fire, functional degradation, and reduced lifespan;
4. Do not heat or throw batteries into fire;
5. Prohibit direct welding of batteries;
6. Do not put batteries in microwave ovens or high-voltage containers;
7. In case of electrolyte leakage and contact with skin, eyes or other parts of the body, immediately rinse the electrolyte with clean water and seek medical attention;
8. Do not use sharp parts, such as nails and other sharp objects, to collide or pierce batteries;
9. Do not transport or store batteries together with metal objects such as necklaces, hair clips, etc;
10. Do not strike, step on, or throw batteries with a hammer;
11. Do not short-circuit the battery cells at any time, as it can cause serious damage to the cells;
12. Be sure to use a charger specifically designed for lithium batteries to charge the battery.
